Students and Westwood residents will soon be able to relax and float in simulated zero gravity chambers at an incoming Westwood business.
Float Lab®, which allows customers to use their flotation chambers, recently began construction and is going to open in the coming months. This will be the second location for the business, which began in Venice Beach more than a decade ago.
The new facility, which sits next to the Corner Bakery Cafe at the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Weyburn Avenue, will have 10 “flotation chambers” where participants can float on their own in a solution of water and dissolved Epsom salts.
Float Lab®’s staff have not yet set an opening date, said director Crash Hoefler, the director of the company’s first location in Venice Beach.
