Health, Hygiene and Water/Air Maintenance- Float Lab Floatation Chambers are built to NSF 50 standards for sanitation and safety. Dissolved in the water is approximately 1000 pounds of Epsom salts. The solution maintains a bacteria free environment that is a natural disinfectant. The Chamber is meticulously cared for and contains no pathogenic organisms of any kind[bacteria, virus, mold, yeast, etc.]. Before each use, the entire volume of solution is repetitively filtered through our revolutionary ½ micron custom cartridge. The solution then passes through a high-efficiency Ultra-Violet[UV] sanitizing light. UV achieves more than 99% of microorganism destruction upon initial contact. Finally, the solution is injected with Ozone[O3]. One of the most powerful oxidizers known to man, it works faster than the strongest forms of chlorine. By rupturing the cell walls of the organism it is attacking, O3 is lethal even to viruses and microbes such as Cryptosporidum and Giardia[the smallest is 1.3 microns ***We filter down to ½ micron.] We also use a commercial grade Air Disinfecting-Filtration System in conjunction with a 5-liter O2 concentrator to pump clean, disinfected and Oxygen enriched air to breathe.
