An Isolation-Floatation Chamber provides a light- and sound-free environment containing 12″ of solution consisting of water and about 1000 lbs. of dissolved Epsom salt. The fluid temperature is maintained at external body temperature[around 95˚]. Inside the Chamber, the participant floats effortlessly without gravitational requirements and neither sound nor light input to consider.
NSF 50 Testing and Certification in 2012- Float Lab Technologies has been working with the National Sanitation Foundation(NSF) and other Health/Safety regulatory agencies throughout the World to solidify the standards for commercial floatation facilities. The standard works to enable a comprehensive product evaluation for health effects, performance validation, and safety for factors such as; burst, sustained pressure, cyclic pressure, head loss, UV resistance, tensile strength, impact and load testing, turbidity reduction, filtration efficacy, VGB compliance, bacterial disinfection efficacy, cyst inactivation[cryptosporidium parvum], durability, chemical and corrosion resistance, and electrical safety. As the perimeters are established for public use, these regulations will be incorporated throughout the industry.
Commercial Float Chamber- Float Lab Commercial Flotation Chambers consist solely of NSF and Underwriters Laboratory certified components; processing equipment features a Schedule 80 enclosed industrial UV disinfecting light, a commercial grade 4 gram/hour Ozone generating injection system, a secondary micro-processor injector to insert a measured residual in addition to double filtration with an initial 5 micron cartridge followed by a ½ micron cartridge. Our custom built heating device consists of a Hi-Limit thermostat to ensure safety, accuracy and durability with fully grounded, copper-etched Heaters that maintain the temperature continuously without generating the EMF associated with other heaters. We have also incorporated a custom designed Air Purification unit in conjunction with a 5-liter O2 concentrator to provide clean, disinfected and Oxygen enriched air for users to breathe while floating.

Built with 3-1/2″ thick modular walls that are super insulated for consistent temperature and maximum sound resistance, our panels have no potential of expansion, contraction or flex deformities and are UV stable. They connect with steel cam locks and will maintain structural integrity regardless of how many times take apart and reassembled.
Our signature in-laid door with magnetic gasket has been designed with both performance(prevents any potential of light leakage) and safety(child-proof) in mind. Heavy-duty, spring-loaded hinges secure in both open and closed positions
The electrical control box can be set-up to function manually, by wireless remote or can be bridged into a variety of home automation systems. Chamber and equipment are fully bonded. All circuits are GFCI protected.

Before each use or on a preset timing schedule, the entire volume of the solution is repetitively processed with our ultra-pure sanitization equipment. The system runs at a rate of approximately 80 gallons per minute.
